If you're looking for a virtual reality gaming experience with stunning 3D graphics, then you've come to the wrong place! Celesteroids is an Asteroids style retro game which may bring a dewy eyed of tear nostalgia to those who remember a life before the Internet, and who may have owned a Rolf Harris Stylophone. I began Celesteroids as a bit fun, but later used it as an exercise to gain familiarity with the wxWidgets Open Source Framework and the MinGW compiler. Because Celesteroids uses the wxWidgets framework for its front-end, it should be possible to port it to other platforms, including Linux and Mac. However, for the time being, only a Windows is available. Released with source code under the GNU General Public License.
